A Beginning! (of sorts)

Welcome adventurers to the.collective-

This introductory 3-quest adventure will serve as a shakedown cruise of sorts for a potentially longer series of quests and adventures.

the.collective?

You have been chosen to form a party of skilled photographers, hereby known as the.collective, using your variety of perspectives and skills to explore the world, solve riddles, battle hostile encounters and inspire the viewers back home with the images we create along the way.

We may find new items to expand our photographic toolset along the way, and we'll probably need them as some quests may find us hindered and unable to use techniques and tools that we're accustomed to using.

Your photos will have to fit the narrative, visually and with a short caption/description that adds context to how your photo fits into each quest.

Intro Adventure

For this intro adventure the.collective is being sent not far from their home area to explore the urban perimeter. As we're forming the party for the first time, it's important to start building chemistry before we find ourselves in the literal weeds. Perhaps introductions are in order?

Overall Adventure Objectives

For this introductory adventure the goal is by the end of quest 3 for every party member to reach 75 XP.

What's XP?
Experience points! You will gain them throughout quests and adventures mostly by participating and submitting photos, but you can also gain XP by unlocking achievements or performing in character or fulfilling story elements required by the DM (dungeon master) running the particular adventure.

Potential Rewards

The area around the.collective HQ is fairly well traveled, and we're unlikely to find anything of use. But one quest participant may find an item on a natural 20 roll.
