Hitting the Trail

The group packs for travel-

Three photographers seeking enlightenment pack for the upcoming adventure. It's a small crew, but certainly not without the capability to handle anything thrown their way. Brice brings a solid collection of peaches, which provide a delicious snack on the short journey ahead. Spoilage likely isn't a concern...

jcodyb: I usually go for nectarines first, but peaches will do just fine!

While packing Sarah thinks she may feel something left over in her bag from a previous adventure...

jcodyb: I can smell your bag from here!

Prepare for departure

This small group is ready to depart, with more sure to join along the way. With their bags packed and the sun just beginning to rise, the group stands at the edge of the small coastal town of Nimoy Ridge. The town is shrouded in mist, and the distant cry of seagulls echoes through the air. There's rumor of a lighthouse at the edge of town, but everyone says it was torn down long ago.

It's unlikely we'll find the lighthouse, but maybe we'll find some remains.

Sarah brings an NPC with a healthy supply of brussel sprouts, and with Brice's supply of peaches the group seems to be covered on the fruits and veggies. The other members seem quite skeptical of this unnamed NPC, is it alive? Is it an it?

jcodyb: I don't understand why she isn't even introducing us! But we need to focus on the mission at hand. Did this lighthouse exist?

The group is looking for any signs of a previously existing lighthouse. Any proof is likely to be obscured or lost to time at this point.

The objective for this quest is to shoot photos of signs of a previously existing structure and/or additional obscured items found along the way.

    I found what I believe is one of the old paths up to the lighthouse location, but it looks like it's been locked up. I think we could get by on foot but should we?

    After an exhausting hike through unfamiliar territory, headed towards the edge of the water the weather turned almost violent. We quickly became disoriented as the wind picked up sand and debris creating almost zero visibility. We stumbled to a clearing to wait it out. As the dust started to settle, we saw the remnants of what looking like a lighthouse or some kind of watch tower. It was partially burned and the top was completely gone. It was hard to capture as the sun had started to fade....

    Along the way I found a lizard nest, I managed to grab a few in case we need to make elixirs or something. I don't know how to make elixirs though. Do any of you?

    A crystalline lighthouse. Illuminated to show us the way, but for what purpose does it have... And why do I feel weirdly drawn to it? Like a moth to a flame.
